About Me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and a Mental Health Professional (MHP). I specialize in Trauma-Informed Care, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Family work, and Relational Issues. I work with youth, young adults, adults, couples, families, and minorities. I provide individual, couples, and family sessions. I believe in collaborative therapy, in which we work as a team to explore core issues, process them together, and find ways to help cope. Every need, issue, or barrier is unique to you. My goal is to help you find a coping mechanism that is catered specifically for you.
My life experiences have taught me a lot about myself. My beliefs, values, traditions, and the way I behave and make decisions developed as I gained my sense of self. I grew up with a bi-cultural identity, which I had to learn how to navigate what made sense to me. I, myself, have continue to heal and grow from my own personal life experiences.
I also see myself as an avid learner. I genuinely take great appreciation and gratitude when working with my clients because they have taught me a lot and helped me develop skills and grow as a mental health professional.
